BioThis is a livejournal to serve as a resource about Polycystic Ovary/Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS).
About 6-10% of women have PCOS, and many go undiagnosed or are self-diagnosed. Most women that have it don't need treatment, but there are a wide range of symptoms and related disorders that do often need medical attention. If you read this livejournal and see symptoms that sound familiar that are bothering you, please see your doctor to find out if it's something you need to treat!
There are a lot of medical articles out there, but I want to also collect sites that offer more than a list of symptoms. Please feel free to say hi by adding a comment on any of my entries, and please correct me if you find me listing any incorrect information!
